Summer is almost upon us and it gets hot here! I like to keep my makeup routine easy and breezy. I thought I would share some of my favorite essentials for the hot summer days ahead.

Instead of applying thick lipstick every couple of hours, I like to use a lip stain. The one I am currently using  is by Revlon “Just Bitten” line. One side has the stain the other lip balm! EOS lip balm is a must have! Not only do they taste yummy, they keep your lips extra hydrated. I love this stuff! The Neutrogena daily sunblock I use everyday on my face during all seasons. The thing I love about this product is that it is not greasy whatsoever on your face. Apply it before your makeup and it dries instantly and you are good to go.

During the summer I like to use blotting papers to cut down the shine. Who wants to keep packing on powder every hour when it’s just going to start running down your face in the heat!? Just blot that shine and go! I love my perfume. It may just be me but doesn’t perfume seem stronger during the summer? I like to use a roll on and just lightly roll it across my wrist and behind my ears for a light scent. Lastly, matte finish primer. You can wear it alone or apply it before you put on makeup. It smoothes out your skin, fills in any deep lines or pores and also helps to make your foundation and the rest of your makeup last longer.

I do appreciate all 25 of my followers but in NON Oprah fashion, I will not be sending you all home with swag bags. One day, though…one day….
