Gone are the days. Does anyone else remember going to 31 Flavors when it looked like this? I do. My Dad would take my sister and me and I remember just having so many options to choose from but I always stuck to what I knew….peanut butter and chocolate…yummm…The only flavor I still get till this day when I go. What would you guys get?
Beyonce released a statement explaining her side of story to her controversial video ‘Countdown.’ Please read below…
Beyonce says…
“Clearly, the ballet ‘Rosas danst Rosas’ was one of many references for my video ‘Countdown.’ It was one of the inspirations used to bring the feel and look of the song to life. I was also paying tribute to the film, ‘Funny Face’ with the legendary Audrey Hepburn. My biggest inspirations were the ’60s, the ’70s, Brigitte Bardot, Andy Warhol, Twiggy and Diana Ross. I’ve always been fascinated by the way contemporary art uses different elements and references to produce something unique.”
Does the word Inspiration have the same definition as Copy? Hmmmm….I’m not sure if this is a good enough explanation for me to be able to back up. Sorry Bey!
Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker has accused Beyonce of “plagiarism” and “stealing” on two parts in her “Countdown” video. We all know that I love Bey and I have her back no matter what!… But Bey! Come on…this is too obvious!
This is what Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker had to say….“I didn’t know anything about this. I’m not mad, but this is plagiarism. This is stealing. They took pieces from Achterland and Rosas danst Rosas. It’s a bit rude, I must say. What’s rude about it is that they don’t even bother about hiding it. They seem to think they could do it because it’s a famous work. Am I honored? Look, I’ve seen local school kids doing this. That’s a lot more beautiful.”

Fall has made it to So Cal. There is something about fall that just gets me excited. My whole mood changes. I get inspired to get dressed up for work…I get to layer! It makes me want to get in my bed and watch movies or stay in and cook something yummy.
So this past weekend I attempted to make homemade eggs benedict. This dish lets me know I have arrived as an adult. I use to hate busted egg yoke getting all over my food but now I like it over everything…pizza, steak, grits…yummm. Just FYI, I even made the english muffins from scratch! Toot…toot! (that’s me tooting my own horn 
)
